1. Begin packing early.

2. Close lids and tape all boxes. No open top boxes (moving or storage).

3. Label boxes with a magic marker as you pack - "Kitchen", "Living Room", "Dining Room", "Master Bedroom", etc.

4. Books & files are heavy - items such as these packed in boxes over 3.1 cubic feet are unacceptable.

5. Wrap glass, china, or any breakables in newsprint; pack these items in a sturdy box and mark "fragile".

6. Pictures, mirrors, lamp shades, etc. must be boxed. If not, customer is responsible for transporting such items.

7. Towels, linens & clothing should be packed in medium-sized boxes (clothing may be left in dressers as long as they do not add excessive weight), for hanging clothes, use 4-7 coat hangers tied together and covered with a large garbage bag, or purchase or rent our wardrobe boxes.

8. T.V., stereo, washer, dryer, (or similar) must be disconnected.

9. Children's toys may be put into large bags and identified.

10. No loose items (i.e., hand or garden tools, etc.); must be boxed or wrapped.

11. Absolutely no combustibles or flammables (oil, gasoline, aerosols, chemicals or similar). Drain all oil lamps, lawn mowers, etc.

12. Large household plants will be loaded onto truck only if there is room enough to transport safely with no spills.

13. Water beds must be drained and disconnected.

*** WINTER CONDITIONS ***
Driveways, sidewalks, steps, etc. must be cleared of snow and/or ice.
